Democratic Special Public Service Commission Election

 The Pickens County Board of Elections and Registration will hold a special meeting on Thursday July 17th, 2025, at 5:00 pm at 3100 Camp Road, Suite B, Jasper GA 30143 (Board of Elections & Registration Office) to pre-cert and certify the July 15th, 2025, Special Runoff Election. All interested persons are encouraged to attend.

The Pickens County Board of Voter Registrations & Elections will hold a public meeting to conduct the computation and canvassing of the July 15th, 2025, Special PSC Democratic Runoff on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025, at 6:45 p.m., to continue day to day until completed, in the Voter Registrations & Elections Office, 3100 Camp Road, Suite B, Jasper GA 30143.

The purpose of the meeting will be for discussion and consideration of the items as outlined in the agenda below and such other business as may properly come before the Board. All interested persons are encouraged to attend.

Computation and Canvassing of votes, to continue day to day until completed (O.C.G.A. 21-2-493(a)) (due to the nature of the canvassing function, the Board will be moving and active and may intermittently separate out of and return to a quorum. No votes or action will be taken while performing this canvassing function).

3. Board approval of posting Unofficial and Incomplete Election Results

At the run-off primary to be held in Pickens County on July 15, 2025, for the nomination of candidates of the Democratic Party, only one polling place shall be open and such polling place will be located at Jasper Municipal Court Room, 55 G.G. Lovell Street, Suite C, Jasper GA 30143. Any voter who desires to vote in such run-off primary must vote at said polling place and no other polling places will be open for the run-off primary.

Notice is hereby given that on July 1st, 2025 a logic and accuracy test of the Dominion Voting System will be held at the Pickens County Board of Elections and Registration office located at 3100 Camp Road, Suite B, Jasper, Georgia 30143, commencing at 10 am and continuing until all units have been tested and prepared for the July 15, 2025 Democratic Special Public Service Commission Election.

This testing shall remain open to the public to observe, and members of the public are entitled to be present during the preparation and testing of the Dominion units.

This notice is given pursuant to an order of the Pickens County Board of Elections and Registration.
